Sabin Drăgulin (b. 1973) is a Ph.D. University Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Administration at ”Petre Andrei” University in Iași. He is a graduate of the postdoctoral training program and postdoctoral research fellowships in the field of social-human and political sciences at the University of Bucharest (2013), under contract POSDRU/89/1.5/S/62259, co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Sectorial Operational Program Human Resources Development 2007-2013. He holds a Ph.D. in History (2007) and has completed the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bucharest (2002) and the Faculty of History at the University of Bucharest (1997).

He has conducted research and documentation internships in the field of migration phenomena in Italy (2012) at ”La Sapienza” University of Rome and ”Aldo Moro” University of Bari. In the academic year 2001-2002, he was an Erasmus student at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Perugia.

He co-edited the volume ”The Mediterranean Model and the Extended Black Sea Region: Political, Economic, and Cultural Confluences” together with Florin Mitrea, published by Ars Docendi Publishing, Bucharest, 2013 (a publisher recognized by CNCS). He authored the book ”The History of Romanian Political Thought 1848-1948” as the sole author, published by Pro Universitaria Publishing, Bucharest, 2010 (a publisher recognized by CNCSIS). He also co-authored, alongside Dan Carbarău, the book ”Universal Modern Political History”, published by Universitară Publishing, Bucharest, 2010 (a publisher recognized by CNCSIS). He has published studies in collective volumes and articles in ISI and BDI indexed journals such as the European Journal of Science and Theology, Sfera Politicii, the South-East European Journal of Political Science, and Cogito.

From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a researcher for 19 episodes of the documentary series ”Strictly Secret Bucharest”, directed by Stelian Tănase and produced by Realitatea TV.

Between 2009 and 2013, he served as the ”Editorial Secretary General” for the BDI indexed journal Sfera Politicii and currently holds the position of Executive Editor for the BDI indexed journal South-East European Journal of Political Science. He also works as an editor for the BDI indexed journal Cogito.

From April 1, 2013, to April 1, 2014, he was involved in the research project titled ”Determinants and Socio-Economic Consequences of Territorial Mobility of Populations in the Inter-Mediterranean Area: The Italian Case” at the Institute of Political Studies S. Pio V, Rome, Italy.
